✨ Dunnville Skating Club 2026 Carnival Announcement ✨

We are excited to officially announce the theme for this year’s skating carnival,

📖 Once Upon a Skate ✨

📍 Dunnville Arena

What is the Skating Carnival?
The skating carnival is a fun, end of season showcase and fundraiser where all skaters participate, from CanSkate through StarSkate. Skaters perform in group routines set to music that follows this year’s storybook theme. This is not a competition. It is a celebration of everything the skaters have learned throughout the season and a chance for families and friends to enjoy a fun evening of skating and creativity.

The carnival is also an important fundraising event for the club, helping to support programming, ice costs, and future skating opportunities for our skaters.

This year’s carnival will bring a magical, fairy tale inspired evening to the ice. Through music, simple costumes, choreography, and spotlight lighting, each group will help tell a story inspired by classic tales, dreams, and imagination.

🎟 Tickets
All spectators attending the carnival will require a ticket. Information about ticket pricing and when tickets will be available for purchase will be shared in a follow up post.

🙋‍♀️ Volunteers Needed
A skating carnival takes many helping hands to run smoothly. We will be looking for volunteers for roles such as music table support, dressing room supervision, set up and tear down, ticket sales, and general event support.

🎭 Carnival Committee
We are also looking to form a small carnival committee to help with planning and organization leading up to the event. This is a great way to get involved, support the club, and help make the carnival a success.

More details regarding practices, costumes, tickets, and volunteer sign ups will be shared as we get closer to the event.
