Carnival Rehearsal & Event Information

Pre-Sale Ticket Returns

• If you took pre-sale tickets, they are due back no later than Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
• Return all sold/unsold tickets and money to the front table.
• Monday families: Pre-sale tickets will be distributed for you to sell.

Carnival Rehearsal – March 5, 2025

Attendance is mandatory for all skaters performing in the Carnival.

• Rehearsal Schedule:
• Performers in the First Half: 6:00 – 6:50 PM
• Performers in the Second Half: 7:00 – 7:50 PM
• CanSkate & PreStar Academy Report Cards
• Final report cards will be distributed at the CanSkate information desk in the lobby.
• Carnival is the final skate for these programs.

Carnival Event Information

• Cash Only Event
• Entry Requirements:
• Physical ticket required for entry.
• All attendees aged 7+ require a ticket (skaters excluded).
• Tickets: $10 each
• Door Ticket Draw: Each ticket gives you a chance to win $500!
• Attendance is not required to win.
• Winner must show ID and ticket for proof.
• Additional Sales at the Event:
• 50/50 tickets
• Flowers
• Programs

Skater Photos

• Photographer: Alesha Allen Photography (Provided by Dunnville Skating Club).
• Photos will be taken during the Carnival show.
• No parents are allowed in the photography room.

Costume Guidelines

• Most costumes are provided by the Dunnville Skating Club.
• You should have received instructions if any additional items are needed.
• Costume Handling:
• Costumes will be in the dressing rooms on Carnival night.
• Parents, please help your skater change into and out of their costume.
• After use, return the costume to its bag and leave it in the change room.
• Skaters do not keep their costumes.

Change Rooms

• Room Assignments:
• Posted on Carnival night by the display case.
• Skater lists will be on change room doors.
• 1st Half Skaters must clear their rooms after intermission.
• Volunteers Needed!
• We need change room supervisors – if interested, visit the CanSkate table.

Finale Information

• A small finale will occur after each half of the show.
• Skaters from that half may come back out in their costumes, but this is optional.
